We run Linux on 2 severs in the division and 17 Microsoft servers. We have had ZERO Linux issues in the past 48 months or more that I can think of. Not to mention, even if we did have something on an RDA server we'd call you. I feel like they make the most of the resource. Linux seems to play well with the Dell servers we buy - no issues so far with hardware compatibility. No "service packs", no botched upgrades, no force upgrades (breaking something that wasn't broken), etc.... Linux/Unix stuff just works. Honestly, they run as securely and reliably as any other, and probably better than a Microsoft server; although I have no numbers to prove that.
