Fixed Assets

The Fixed Asset Module enables you to monitor, transfer, and delete multiple categories of fixed assets.  It reduces administrative activities by providing immediate access to information through MicroBUDGET-GUI's on-line features. It improves the tracking and location of assets due to the immediate availability of records. In addition, the module provides greater control and management of aging assets through total like tracking.  

The Fixed Assets module has been designed to accommodate General Fixed Assets with a Fund Classification of Governmental and Enterprise Fixed/Capital Assets with a Fund Classification of Proprietary. Use this module to track your assets and create transactions to Record Assets (Individually or in Mass), Depreciate Assets (Individually or in Mass), Sell Assets, and Dispose of Assets. The module allows you to keep track of your assets and pull all information together at the end of the year for the Statement of Activities report. 

For those assets that are below the threshold for reporting purposes, you can still use the system to track them for inventory purposes.

• Print Fixed Asset listings by class, locations and other formats

• Each Asset is assigned a Category, Location, Major Fund, and Tracking Number

• System determines account codes updated based on the Category Definitions established in Setup

• Allows for easier GASB34 Reporting
