Inventory Control

The Inventory Control Module tracks supplies and equipment in terms of quantity and associated costs.  It helps you realize significant savings by purchasing in bulk, storing the materials, and then subsequently issuing and/or delivering to the end-consumer as needed.  This module facilitates this process by accounting for the transactions as they occur.  In addition, Inventory Control integrates with the Requisition and Purchase Order Modules.

 Features:

  • Allows each fund to have its own asset account

  • Handles multiple locations

  • Handles sub locations within each building or store room

  • Uses the average cost method to compute unit value

  • Allows issuing, receiving, ordering, returning and adjusting type transactions

  • Detail tracking for all transactions to and from delivery

  • Identify ship-to records by a route identification

  • Provides a listing of all ship-to locations

  • Print delivery tickets and pick reports

  • Allows inter fund issuing of merchandise

  • Ability to purchase inventory in bulk but issue in smaller packages

  • Preserves the last price paid per unit for estimating reorder costs

  • Provides last date physical inventory taken

  • Provides automatic reminders to reorder inventory and quantities needed

  • Provides inventory work sheet for use in doing a physical inventory
