Student Activity Financial Management 

The Financial Management Module offers a complete range of accounting and reporting capabilities for managing all your accounting activities. Handle expenditures, encumbrances, revenues, and the general ledger easily.  With MicroBUDGET-GUI, all subsystems automatically update the general ledger.  In addition, you have the option to use the journal entry function for entering transactions into the general ledger.

• Handle cash, modified accrual, and full accrual accounting methods

• Process activity for future months prior to closing current month

• Automatically open and close accounts at year-end

• Handle two closeouts at year-end.  One for cash and the second for accruals

• Account and report for two years simultaneously

• Selectively close fiscal year by fund

• Monitor over expenditure of budget at transaction time

• Automatically enter recurring fixed amounts and prorated journal entries

• Export & import budget information to the Budget Preparation module
